It is with considerable regret that we are unable to accept any new students on the full-time bachelor programme Business Management in Agriculture & Food from the academic year 2020-2021.
We remain convinced that we had set up a good study programme, one that enables students to prepare for an international career in the agri and food business. However, in spite of all our efforts, we have been unable to realise sufficient enrolment levels. It has been a difficult and painful decision, but we see no other option.
Students who are interested in particular English components from the programme within the framework independent studies, the choice of a minor, or in the context of exchange opportunities, should look at the Exhange possibilities or contact Astrid Jillings by mail: A.Jillings@has.nl
HAS University of Applied Sciences also offers other study programmes that may be a suitable alternative for you:
You will learn how to make global food chains future-proof through international, sustainable business practices. This study programme is very similar to Business Management in Agriculture & Food. The admission requirements are the same and the degree is also a Bachelor of Business Administration.
This study programme teaches you about plant cultivation from producer to consumer. It combines knowledge about business management with knowledge about the chain and cultivation. The difference with Business Management in Agriculture & Food is that this study programme focuses exclusively on the domain of plants. In addition, you must have studied chemistry in the last year of your previous education. Upon the successful completion of the Horticulture & Business Management study programme, you will receive a Bachelor of Science degree.
On the highly practical study programme, you will learn everything about management, finance, logistics and marketing in the field of Agri, Food or Equine & Pets. Business Management in Agriculture & Food was the English version of this Dutch-language study programme.
